August 28, 2011 at 1:39 pmFor time-lapse you want to be in Manual Iris.
You cannot adjust the iris once recording has begun.
Well, you can, all you want, but the results will not be favorable.
Shutter doesn’t matter so much. Follow the 180 rule and you’ll be fine.Chris Tompkins

August 28, 2011 at 1:50 pmThank you. Now, I have to wait for the haze and dust to clear.

February 14, 2012 at 4:35 pmHmmmm, I pulled out our P2 and have the same problem. Most options are colored in blue and non-editable. I’ll poke around and let you know what I find.

February 14, 2012 at 4:45 pmThe solution for the locked blue menu options was already mentioned above. Make sure the Scene File is set to Video Camera not Film Camera.
1. Scene File – Set Operation Type to Video Camera

March 11, 2013 at 2:07 pmThanks From LV, this is exactly what I was looking for and it worked like a charm. Like the bleow post says, make sure you do step 1 and set the operation to video camera, not film camera.
Thanks again!
