  • Set keyframes for RAW conversion settings? (RAW sequence)

    Hi!

I’ve got a timelapse of a sunrise, shot with a DSLR in RAW. The exposure was set in a way, that the picture is approx. 1 stop overexposed, when the sun has risen.
Now I’d like to have the RAW conversion exposure control set dynamically throughout the shot with keyframes. For example to start at +3 and end at -1.

Is there any way to do this in After Effects? As of now, I can only import the RAW Sequence and make one setup for the whole sequence.

A workaround I thought of was to create multiple squences with different exposure setting and crossfade them… but i guess there’s a better solution?
If it’s possible with a different software, please also post…

    Thanks a lot!

    Unfortunately, that’s not possible currently.
Note that if you use 16 bpc in ACR, you should have every piece of data available (plus headroom) to use AE’s Exposure effect, for example.
