    Is it possible so set the duration of my still prior to importing them ???

    I need to import thousands of stills with the duration of one frame, i believe PP default is at 5 sec….i hope there’s a way to change this in the preference. thx

    In preferences there is General tab. Select Still Image Duration and change it to what you want.

    Yes. Edit > Preferences > General > Still Image Default Duration. The default is 150 frames.

    However…

    Premiere also supports image sequences, so if you intend to cut your thousands of single-frame stills back to back, you might consider importing them as an image sequence instead so that you can treat them as a single clip.
