Set clip duration in timecode?
This may be a very basic question, but I’ve searched extensively and cannot find an answer. My dilemma: I have a clip in the source window and want to set a duration of say, 5 seconds. I select an in-point and then hit the “+” key only to find frames as my option for duration–not timecode. Right-clicking on the timecode display reveals that I have timecode selected. Yet, I can only get a duration in frames. There has to be a simple solution to this problem.
Anyone out there who knows how to solve this problem? I’d be very grateful!

When you enter numbers, it’s not frames, but rather timecode, from the right, without separators.
To go forward five seconds, type “+500”. To go forward five seconds and fifteen frames, type “+515”.
