Server distribution of video to Multiple displays
I am a Student Director for our Media Program here at Loras College in Dubuque IA. We are a small catholic private arts school, but we have a media program that is more developed than most larger schools. We are looking to create an effective marketing tool that can be used during prospective students tours. We have a mac lab with 14 mac suites in a U shape with a 15th computer on the closing end of the U hooked up to a projector. We are looking to create a video that incorporates all 15 viewing screens with a integrated video that appears on all 15. The video would start on the main project but then break up between the multiple monitors as the main focus of the video, with the other monitors playing relating video. Possible panoramas that span 6 monitors on one side of the room. We are connected through fiber cards to a 9TB XSAN we also have another XServe managing our internet connection, as possible host to some video management software.
Does anyone know of any potential software that could manage the distribution of the video to the multiple apple cinema displays hooked into individual powerpc computers?
