Grading footage using DaVinci Resolve Lite 9.03 on Mac OS X 10.7.4. It was shot with a Canon 60D, converted to ProRes 422. Computer is iMac mid-2011, 2.7GHz Intel i5, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD 6770M 512MB.

Every few seconds the highlights flicker with this hideous colour noise. This happens in the preview window and unfortunately in the final exported files too.

When disabling the nodes by resetting the grade, the problem disappears completely.

Has anyone encountered this issue and if they have, how do you fix it? Getting a bit desperate here.

I believe this is an issue with ATI Radeon GPU and OSX 10.7.x and some users have reported on this. Updating to OSX 10.8.2 fixes this issue.

I can confirm I also had this issue on a machine running 10.7.x with the ATI 5770. Upgrading to Mountain Lion did indeed remove the issue.
