‘Serious Error’ message remedy (or one of) !
Just so people find it easier i have started a thread to make it more noticable.
Basically i was encountering a problem where Premiere Pro 7.0 (1.0?) refused to render and more importantly save beyond a certain point. I also encountered this in a second project but did not make the link. Both times it stopped at large chunks of footage (or in this case an image that had been stretched to around 30mins).
I found that Premiere can find it difficult to render and save such large clusters of footage, in most cases no more than 4mins. So just remember to make cuts in your work every 2-3mins or so if you encounter this problem 🙂 It has worked for me so far.
