Hello, we have had some significant issues using C300 MXF files with CC14. The first issue is that if you have used some of these clips in a CC project and then open the project in CC14 the clips can be completely in the wrong place meaning if your source in is 20 mins into a clip it might be 5 mins into it or it’s completely at some random timecode..

If you match into one of these messed clips the clip would freeze when scrubbing through like halfway through. Premiere seems to be totally miscounting the frames.

The only way to fix it is to completely re-import the clip and to manually replace it.

Then this issue also causes timelines to error on rendering and exporting giving the “cannot compile” error. If the footage is replaced with ProRes all of the problems go away.

I looked and it seems people have been reporting issues with C300 footage going back to CS5 or so. Is Adobe planning on fixing this?
