  Sequential Number Symbol

  Hi,

  I’m looking for a way to make sequential numbers in illustrator. I don’t want to place them in regular places like page numbers in Indesign. Ideally I’d like to make them as symbols – each time I drag a new one on to the page it automatically counts up/ each time I delete one it automatically counts down.

  Is this at all possible? Maybe using scripts – which I know nothing about!
