    Hi

    I have a question to anyone out there about sequencing layers. I have about 300 pics, I want them to be sequenced in layers and faded in, that part I know. now, I want every singe clips, as they fade in to scale up a little bit. I am pretty sure this could be solved by an expression.

    [Jimmy Ahlander] ” now, I want every singe clips, as they fade in to scale up a little bit. I am pretty sure this could be solved by an expression. “

    You can link the opacity property to the scale property by applying an expression like this to the scale property:

    minO = 0; //Opacity when the scaling begins
    maxO = 100; //Opacity when the scaling finishes
    minS = 20; //Scale at minO
    maxS = 100; //Scale at maxO

    s = linear(opacity, minO, maxO, minS, maxS);
    [s,s]

    If you want the scale property to ease in/out of the scaling then you can replace linear above with ease, easeIn or easeOut.

    Are you trying to make some kind of slide show? If you are, watch this tutorial:

    https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials.html?id=48

    He shows you how to set up one photo (scale, adjustment layers, etc.) and then how to quickly apply the same effects/animations to all of your photos at the same time…sequenced in layers.
