Sequence Settings for multi format inputs Question??
Howdy all
I have a question that I cannot seem to find a good answer to.
I am using PrePro CS6 with a fast machine.
I am preparing one sequence that will eventually be exported to Digital Cinema DCI standards and various MP4 standards.
I am working with clips from a vast array of codecs and formats. everything from ProRes422, mp4s, DVD Rips, DCI JPEG200, AVCHD, Old DigiTape etc etc. Multiple frame rates.
I do very little actual layers and such… just alot of clip cutting
What would be the prefered settings for a sequence with these formats??? Would I be better served to switch to a AVCHD codec? I have installed Rovis TotalCode plug-ins.
I currently work in the JPEG200 codec as that is the one that is the most specific settings. I have no real major issues with render times while editing and the exports turn out fine regardless of format ( MP4, HDTV, DCI, DVD, BluRay)
What is truly a good sequence setting work flow for multiple format editing??
Thanks to anyone with a few suggestions.
