    First off I have R16 Lite that comes with After Effects.

    I am trying to separate a selection that I made in the Lite version and cannot get it to work. The lite version does not have the split command and the main part that I am selecting from does not have any polygon selection tags.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I don’t have the Lite version, but can’t you just duplicate the object, select the polys, invert the selection, and delete?

    That worked and should have though of that myself. I guess I was hoping for a easy way out.
