Does anyone know how to repair or replace the rubber casing that encases the antenna on the Sennheiser EW100 wireless mics? I accidently shut the antenna in the protective case I keep it in and it ripped off the rubber casing around the antenna. Now I seem to get some occassional stactic from the mics.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

Try 1/8 or 3/16 inch shrink wrap. The rubber is just there for protection, it doesn’t really affect the operation of the antenna (unless it gets wet). I’ve got few in which the rubber is completely gone and they work fine, they just look bad. Just make sure the wire itself is not damaged.

Do you think if I put some gaffer tape around it that it would affect the reception?
