Hi, I’m on day 02 of switching over to Premier Pro from FCP.

I’m currently trying to figure out how to trim/extend a clip, one frame at a time in the timeline by selecting the edge and pressing the [ or ] brackets. This was my FCP keyboard shortcut but I can’t seem to get to it to work in Premiere. Am I looking at the right one in the keyboard shortcut list in the keyboard shortcut menu? I’ve tried ‘Trim Backward/Forward by One Frame’, no luck.

The only way I can utilize this keyboard shortcut is if I double click an edge on a timeline clip which opens up a trim monitor on the canvas where I can click the +1/-1 buttons to trim the clip one frame at a time. How can this be done simply in the timeline with keyboard shortcuts?

Option + right/left arrow. Shift+Option+right/left arrow for Large Trim Offset. Amount of Large Trim Offset can be set in Preferences/Trim.
