Selecting specific mask points bug…
I’ve done this a MILLION times over the years, but these last few times this week, AE has strangely decided to not let me shit+drag to select a specific lot of mask points while doing some roto work… All it keeps doing is take the layer below or above and drag it off screen… It’s driving me nuts! (it does it with both e selection tool and pen V tool BTW). Have I clicked off some option or something??

Ok, I’ve just figured it out… My layer wasn’t visible.
