  • selecting several points and set each position

    hi

when i select multiple points on a mesh, i get an axis in the center
and so i can move them all together.

i want to put in new values for the x position,
but it changes the postion of the group, not
of each point, what can i do?

    thanks in advance

i just saw somebody else doing it like this:

select multiple points, scale the whole group to 0 in X,
so they line up and have the same x position.

Now just type in the new one for all of them

    🙂

    hey

the reason i needed this is because
i am using a symetry object for modeling
and so there is no gap or overlaping on the
    vertexes representing the mirror axis.

    cheers

another way to do that is to select the points you want to ‘flatten’ and set their Size to zero in the Coordinates Manager
