Selecting pixels on the outer edge of an item?
When making a selection with either a lasso or Magic Wand, it seems to select the item, however, when I zoom in, there seems to be lots of soft pixels on the edges of the items that are not being included in my selection.
What is the best way to get these outer pixels that have different colors and levels of transparency?

1. You may need to increase your Selection Tolerance
2. In Selet menu, select “Similar” and/or you can try “Grow”
3. Instead of using Magic wand, go to SELECT>Color Range. Play with the tolerance and you can select multiple colors or similar colors using shift-click.
4. YOu can also go to Select>Expand and specify how many pixels you would like to expand.Let me know if you need more info.
