  • Selecting Output Module on multiple Comps

Posted by Nightdesigns on July 5, 2006 at 8:44 pm

When I have multiple comps queued in the render queue, I can select them all and choose the render setting on one and they all update. I cannot do the same for output module and I must do one at a time.

I have this issue in 6.5 and 7 (both mac)

    Am I missing something?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

Instead of highlighting all the comp names in the render queue to change all the render settings, you have to highlight all instances of the phrase, “Output Module” (Just shift-click on each “Output Module”) and then you can change one and they will all change. At least this works in AE 7.0

Counter intuitive, I know, but I think this is Adobe’s way of encouraging people to create user forums.

That worked, thanks. And yes, counterintutitve. Interestly enough, you cannot select the Render Settings line. Go figure! Thanks adobe!
