I have a bunch of clips with transitions, one next to the other, that all need to be increased to 7 seconds long. I have heard there is a quick and easy way of doing this, but I’ve looked and looked to no avail.

    Thanks for your time,
    Kwesi

Lengthening all of the clips at once? No, there isn’t a way. Or do you mean lengthening the transitions?

I mean both the transitions and the clips. No go?

    Transitions yes. Clips no.

Transitions – Set the default transition to whatever you need. The select the range of clips and drag them to the canvas window and select overwrite with transition. It’ll edit them into the timeline where the playhead is and where you’re patched. It’s obvious after you try it.
