    Hello All,
I am new to Maxon and I hope it is okay to ask about 4D lite here.
I can do a fair number of basic things in 4D Lite but something that seems like it should be simple – appears to be impossible.
I would like to create a wedge-shaped object but then be able to use the subdivision surface nurb to round the edges a little.
The problem is, I can’t seem to deform a standard object to the shape I want.
I created my shape with editable planes and the shape is great but I can’t use nurbs.
I even tried importing a Sketchup object that I created but it is still an editable object.
I am going to feel pretty silly if there is an easy answer to this. But if you don’t ask you don’t learn ☺

    Am I out of luck?

    Thanks in advance!

don’t have lite or know if it has any limitations in it’s subD. Editable objects should work with SubD or is that not true? And, if not SubD, what about the Bevel tool or the Bevel deformer to round edges?
