    [30*Math.sin(time*index*thisComp.layer("Adjustment Layer 3").effect("Sin Speed")("Slider")), position[1], index*thisComp.layer("Adjustment Layer 3").effect("Depth Offset")("Slider")]

    Does anyone know how to smoothly loop a sin wave with indexing so that I can create a visual representation of the sign wave with multibe 3D layers. right now when I try it the sin wave start but quickly seem to key all forms of feenback and distortion.

    Below is what I’m using right now on the first layer then duplicating the layer. The index of layer creates an offset in depth.

    I think you’re looking for something like this:

    sinSpeed = thisComp.layer(“Adjustment Layer 3”).effect(“Sin Speed”)(“Slider”);
    depthOffset = thisComp.layer(“Adjustment Layer 3”).effect(“Depth Offset”)(“Slider”);
    delay = .1;

    [30*Math.sin((time-(index-1)*delay)*sinSpeed), position[1], index*depthOffset]
