Like the subject says. When I start up the project, I get the “serious error” prompt. Most of the sequence is fine but a section of it is frozen. I’ve tried relinking the sequence as well as rebuilding the database. I don’t know what else to do or whats causing this.

usually it’s corrupt media. make a copy of your sequence, then narrow down the problem area by pulling sections out until you figure out where your problem is. than just get that media again (weather it’s a recapture or re-import)

I had this bug when I re-rendered quicktime files from After Effects, with slightly different timings.

To solve the problem, I deleted the old clips, deleted their references in the timelines, and re-edited them. Not very handy, but it worked in my case…

    good luck
