  • Secondary Color Corrector not visible anymore

I was working with the Secondayy Color Corrector and moved it off the screen (with the mouse) temporarily, but I never got it back. When I click the “Effects” icon on an event, or open the Color Corrector from the Tools menu, the Effects menu box appears. When I select the Secondary Color Corrector, it doesn’t appear on the screen like it used to (even though the color on the toolbar becomes light as if it has opened). It is obviously opening, but not visible. I need to make it visible again. Did pushing it off the screen cause that?

    Thanks,

    Don

My guess is that it got docked and is hidden behind one of your other tabs.
You can close all the open ones until it shows up and then undock it or do a View – Window Layout – Load Default Layout.

Thanks. I tried it. Closed all tabs and still couldn’t see it. I also cannot open the video EFX menu by left-clicking the icon on the event (the toolbar becomes lighter colored, indicating it is responding to the command). I have to right click. Once I select from the plug-in menu, my selection appears to be opening, then hiding behind everything.

    Thank you,

    Don

In that case, try temporarily setting your desktop display to a higher than normal resolution.
Open Vegas up and see if you can now find where the FX window is hiding.
Once you get it back, resize your desktop to it’s usual setting.

Kudos!!!!!!! That worked! At highest resolution, I saw it hiding below everything. My project is back on track. Thank you Mike.
