Does anyone know if there are indeed secondaries for color correction on FCPX?

Could anyone run down a quick list of what tools are actually available for grading currently on this new app?

Not expecting miracles, but would appreciate some accurate info.

    Thanks in advance.

from what iv’e seen so far

no 3-way tool (even as a filter)
no curves (unless they are still hiding)
    no gamma adjustment tool

still didn’t find the frame viewer or any way to compare shots

    nice scopes

    nice response

infinite (apparently i stopped at 15…) amaount of secondaries that include a keyer and a mask, inside and outside control, not alot of key adjustment options

once selected you have the same set of tools like in primary

its a strange color balance tool… will need some time to get used to
looks perfect for an iPad control app

    some nice color presets

a much longer and beefier blending modes list

didn’t play with the auto tools yet

there seem to be much more

but though it looks quite cool and nifty, this is not a pro grading tool.

this is all very DSLR generation… and feels like it needs feedback and versions

    Thanks Hector.

I greatly appreciate your taking the time to spell it out more specificallly.

If anyone has other specific detail please speak up.

Probably there are a few new or useful tools, but going to be difficult if there is no way to integrate with other pro apps.
