    Second hand of a clock

    I’ve just posted a similar question in the Cionema 4D forum but have learnt I may need to do this in AE so thought I might ask here too.

    I want to animate the second hand of a clock as it ticks. Rather than create a sweep hand I would like the hand to click a sceond at a time in realitme.

    Obviously this means rotating the hand (6 degrees I m ake it) every second, can anyone suggest an expression rather than keyframe it?

    Brilliant!

    Thanks very much for your help – it works a treat. I realise I could have done this using differing frame rates etc, but this seems much more elegant.

    Sorry for my appalling spelling in my first post – this is why I do pictures : )
