Searching just selected clips
After performing a search and making a ‘new view’ of the results is it possible to then search just that view of selected clips and not an entire catalog? I have tried selecting those clips in the view (cmd A) and then hitting find to do another search but I seem to still get results out of that selection.

Hi Scott
I typically use the “search field” at the top of the interface to further filter the results, you can also use the Grouping button to select a further filter or a mixture of all three using the automatic filters in the tree on the left… selections can be parked on the scratch pad for later use or saving as a specific catalog gets me most places 🙂

So the search field will just filter that views results?

Exactly…. but experiment a little and get a feel for the filters combining together , say format , date then free form text .
