Export Using Quicktime Conversion Compressor: h.264
With a Macbook Pro FCP ver 6.6
24 minute Short Movie – exports native to 8.2gig
Shot primarily with p2 hvx200 (mixed with various re-exported /imported formats: hi-8; VHS
p2 Imported and Edited Compressor: DVCproHD720p60

Limitation Requirement for viewing file size: 2gig
When I export using h.264 at HD 1280×720, it looks pretty good and produces a 1.3 gig file

But before I spend countless hours running tests to see if I can find an even better Compressor, I thought I ask someone else

    sorry

the file will be played back on a computer for viewing – not sure if the receivers will have macs or pcs
but they want a QT file which is what our 1.3 H.264 gig file is

the only delivery spec is that we upload to their ftp site and they download – the only spec i know is that it has to be less than 2 gig

Again, do you think exporting with quicktime conversion from a dvcpro50hd to h.264 may give the best looking results?
