    Hello,

We are installing a new video server that has SDI out. I need to convert the SDI signal to ASI to work with the cable companies infrastructure.

What unit would you recommend for this that would keep the quality of the SDI signal?

    Thanks,
    Larry

Thanks Bob. Are they all the same quality as far as the conversion to ASI is concerned?

    yes –
it’s like saying – “is a Miranda HD DA better than an Evertz or Blackmagic HD DA”. These are commodity items. They all do the same job. The difference is price, and support.
