    Hello,

I’ll be configuring a workstation that will have to accept an HD-SDI input feed into Telestream Wirecast that will be used for (1) local video recording to a hard drive, (2) web-streaming to YouTube, (3) and HD-SDI output to a DVD recorder (through SDI/composite RCA conversion). I need some advice.

All of the above functions (1, 2, and 3) can (unless I’m mistaken) be accomplished in (one instance of) Wirecast. Wirecast will also be used to de-interlace the feed (it will be a 1080 59.94i feed, to be de-interlaced to 1080 29.97p) and to apply overlays such as lower thirds to the video feed.

    My Questions:
Can I accomplish all of the above functions (with the de-interlacing and other processing considered) using one Blackmagic Design Decklink SDI 4K? I know that the Decklink SDI 4K has both an input and output port on it.

If not, what configuration would you suggest?

    All advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
