    SD PAL ingest problem

    Attempting to ingest SD PAL to a Kona 3 running on MacPro.
    Using AJA Control Panel and FCP.
    Getting 1 frame gliches in the video sporadically.

    A frozen frame reveals a part of the frame to be out of phase. Sometimes it’s almost a whole frame and sometimes its just a corner of it.

    Video is being down and cross converted from 1080i/59.94 through a Teranex and has a solid output.

    AJA is referencing input video for sync.

    The PAL ingest is to create a DVD for use in the UK.

    Help?

    Why not just capture a standards converted 1080i50 movie and make a DVD from that?
