  • SD monitoring for HDX900?

I need to monitor our HDX900 on a standard definition monitor which only has analog inputs (composite, s-video and component). Is there a menu setting in the HDX900 that will allow me to switch the monitor output to SD composite? Thanks for your help!

The HDX900 has two video ouputs, one switchable and one non-switchable .
The rear video out can be switched as HD-SDI, SD-SDI or composite, sometimes refered to as VBS, video blanking sync.
The rear side video out is ALWAYS HD-SDI only.

BTW, the switch is on the left side of the camera and is a hard switch not a menu.

I hope you don’t mind me asking but I have an SPX800 and one of the output options is a “Y” signal which of course is black and white luminance with no color. Question, does the SD camera SPX800 have an adequate color signal output that would marry with the “Y” signal to yield S-Video out ?

    Thanks

PS: I have SDI SD out, VBS (Comp) and Y, but where is S-Video out ?
