I’m not sure how it happened, but something has been changed in my settings so that now when I scrub across the timeline, even if it’s in ram, it doesn’t move. Know what I mean? I can move the cursor forward and when I release it, it will update the monitor to that frame, but no action in between. Can someone please tell me what setting it is I’m looking for?

You probably have one of the OpenGL preview settings enabled. If you disable that, it should work how you want.

Click the first of the little buttons at the top of the timeline — or check the help under “dynamic interactions”.

Sorry, I’m not at AE right now.
