  Scrolling subtitles contained in area

  Hi everyone,
  Can anyone offer advice on the following please?
  I want to create a scrolling subtitle which appears on a strap (like the news) near the bottom of the screen. At the moment I’m only able to create subtitles like this that extend the full width of the screen. I need them to start and end (width-wise) within about 75% of screen width – to accomodate logo on the start of strap and space at end. How can I do this?
