Scripting Gurus! After Effects Depth Generator
Good Day Scripting Gurus of the world.
I just finished this super wicked radical Depth Generator for After Effects. I would love some testers for this “Beta release” (I’ve always wanted to say that…) to do a peer evaluation and work out any kinks I may not have run into, give feedback.I figured I should start making these things public for others to enjoy, but I’m completely self taught and just sort of figured things out for what works for my set-up.. meaning, everything is probably not the right way to do it but it works. Before I publish them I would just love some eyes on it from someone who is used to writing scripts!

i know there’s some scripts that can set z distance, etc. and card dance, is that what this is?

Good question. Yes and no. It’s something I put together after doing a lot of 2.5D stuff in after effects and needing to generate depth maps quickly for multiple comps that I could use in real-time due to projects constantly changing.Let me know if you want me to send the script!
