Script! Trim Pre-Comp to the timespan of the layers duration
Hello, I would like to pre-comp multi layers into individual comps. I’ve found a script that is similar to my request except is doesn’t trim to the timespan of the selected layers inpoint and outpoint. Can someone update this script below so it acts like the fuchsia color and not the sandstone color in this image: https://i.imgur.com/WKhqo7V.png ?

You don’t need a script for this. AE’s native precomp functionality includes an option to trim the precomp to the layers.

My project require the use of a script to do multiple layers. The owner of the script says it’s open, If anyone could help?

Okay! the solution is rd_Pre-compose. Would like the rename prefix + leading numbers 001 as seen in the previous script if anyone has the time.
