In my quest to find a workflow between Vegas and AE CS3, I thought that my best option would be to export as uncompressed AVI. Would it be possible to have a script in Vegas that would automatically save each clip (each cut) on the timeline as a separate uncompressed AVI? Thanks!

In Vegas 8 (and I think in 7 as well), there’s a Batch Render script that can do this for you.
You’ll have to convert each clip to a region first. Double-click the clip to highlight it, press R (region), name it if you want and then press Enter.
    Repeat for each clip.
Once this is done, go Tools – Scripting – Batch Render.
Select a base file name and render folder, select Uncompressed, click Render Regions and press OK.
    Done.

just need to get a script to convert all clips to regions and you’re in a world of bliss, eh?

must be a script for that somewhere – look on Ed’s forum or vasst.com
