  • Script to locate AE Disk cache on startup?

I always have the exact same issue when I start up AE when I’m on the go. I usually use one of my external HDs to hold my disk cache (yes, not the fastest, but my internal SSD has no space at all) – it’s always the same folder /_AECache in the root of every drive. Every time I’m not with one of my HDs it reverts to the system default which of course doesn’t have enough space since my laptop has a smallish SSD. Then when I have one of my HDs connected I have to go back and manually relocate the folder I use. Is there any script or something that I could list the location of all my usual places “i.e. /volumes/harddrive1/_AECache, /volumes/harddrive2/_AECache, /users/robert/library/_AECache” and just iterate through them until it finds one? This would save me a ton of time every time I open AE. Thanks.
