script to “instance” copy
Happy to work with the new AE7 but sorry not to find a tool to copy with an “instance” mode.
For example i need to copy some filters from a layer to 4 or 5 others…
and i want to keep a link to the master… in order to correct the first one to move all of them…
I know that we can use expression to link but it can be very borring and very slow for some effect with a lot of adjustement.Is there any way to use any script or anything else to create an automatic instance ? …to put it into “favorite” folder to re-use.
already done or new challenge ?

ok so this is a dead thread but five years on it’s still UTTERLY AWESOME. Like Sebastien I’ve been looking for this script for years (and only thought to search for it now!).
Shall update the thread if it still works on CS3
