Script Sync bug in MC3.5?
An associate of mine tells me there is a bug in Media Composer 3.5 that makes Script Sync unusable. Has any out there had that problem, and if so, can you describe it?

If there is one, that’s what I’d like to know. If people running MC 3.5 or 3.5.4 are using Script Integration and/or Script Sync without problems, that would also be good.

I am working with it fine. Again, not knowing what the exact problem is doesn’t help us help you or him.

I appreciate your reply. I did a search and didn’t come up with anything, but I wasn’t clear how widely used this feature was. I’m about to use it for the first time using a client’s rig and I’m doing my due diligence….

Oh… many many features and television shows are using this. Once they use it, they don’t go back.

So just for the record, the word I got from Avid is that there was a bug that made ScriptSync work slowly in 3.5, but it’s fixed in 3.5.4 and works “faster than ever.”
