    Hello,

this is not an expression question but rather a script question. I thought I’d post it here and see if you have any ideas.
At the moment I am working with a complex animation involving a lot of layers (200+).

Is there a way/script to tell these layers to stack in order from their in-point? For example:

    Layer 1 starts at 00225
    Layer 2 starts at 00175
    Layer 3 starts at 00450
    Layer 4 starts at 00399

The order would then be: 2, 1, 4, 3. If you follow me?

Of course I can do this by hand. But I just thought that I check if there exists a script for it. (Lately I’ve become a script addict 🙂

    Best,
    Kim

    Hi Kim,

There’s a script that ships with After effects
it’s called SortByInpoint.jsx and you cna find it in the Scripts -> (demos) folder

i Use it all the time.
