  Scripps Networks contract question

  Hello Cows,
  Just wanted to ask if anyone out there designs show packaging for the Food Network. We were hired for season two of one of their big shows to create the GFX package and I need some advice on contracts. We did the 1st season through a production company and now this season FN is hiring us directly. They are writing it of course and in it will stipulate all assets be owned by them. This includes project file from AE and C4D.

  Of course once FN has the project files they will not call us anymore to update for new seasons.

  Does anyone else out there work with the Food Network and is this standard or is there a way I can keep control of my project files as intellectual property?
