I’m getting nasty screen tearing in AFX, it’s particually visable when working with gunshot/muzle flashes but I can’t find any info on how to stop it. . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_tearing

this seems to be happening with any smaller preview windows within apps like AFX, I work with three screens and have the same problem whichever screen the app is using but only in the preview windows, when I output in full screen mode this tearing dissapears 🙁

It’s actually giving me a bit of a migrain, most of the footage I’m using is already pretty strobey but the tearing is making it difficult to focus on the images propperly.

is there a fix in AFX, maybe (v-sync)?

Tearing is an artifact of your display being overdriven by your signal, it’s a user error. Open the scopes in Color Finesse and make sure you are video legal or within the constraints of your project’s codecs.
