Screen Saver
Posted by Philip Lackmaker on May 19, 2009 at 5:20 pmHey I got to make a screen saver and I am unsure of the right pixel settings that I need to use. Any help would be great?

May 20, 2009 at 9:54 amCan I not make the animation in AE as a quick time then put it in to flash. if i can’t make a screen saver in AE how would I make the screen saver?

May 21, 2009 at 11:22 amYeah, by exporting as flash/to flash there are ways to turn that into a screen saver – check you know what you’re doing before you start though – most screensavers are more programed/coded rather then animated and while a looping video can be made into a screensaver it might be harder than you’re thinking.
As for video size, depends a bit on the monitor size I’d guess. Not sure what the standard monitor is these days – check what whoever you’re making it for uses and look at the options in the program you’ll actually make it into a screensaver with are. (I.e. You might not be able to scale up only down, you might have to add borders on widescreen etc.)
