    Hello all,

Here is the situation….my sequence is NTSC dv and my easy setup is ntsc 8bit uncompressed..basically the issue is, when I render the timeline for playback, the image on the monitor is scrambled. This happened to me last week and i was able to fix it by reconnecting the media, rendering the timeline and everything was okay.

Any idea what may be causing this….It plays on the timeline and computer monitor just fine, but the output monitor is obviously not getting the right signal or something…

    help!

You’ve got a mismatch: your sequence is supposed to be DV, yes? Not 8 bit uncompressed.

Have a look to the brownser to see if FC had properly interpreted the field order of your clip (Lower first). Look as well at the field order of your sequence. Should be Lower first too.
Then see if for any chance FC had added any “Shift fields” filter to your clips in the time-line.
