Scene Selection Menu
I have a scene selection menu that I am using for a wedding video. I have assigned chapter markers via Encore CS3 to a Reception video on the timeline. For each chapter on the menu, I have linked to each chapter on the timeline. That’s all working, but the thing is, that on my timeline, where I put the markers, they are at the beginning of scenes where I faded out from one section of the reception video, into a black screen with text, (example: fading from the bride/groom entrance, to a text screen, to first dance etc). So when I connect scene selection button to a chapter on the timeline, it places a black screen in my ss button. I would like it to be of a scene not black, or a motion ss.

Move the CTI in the timeline to the frame you want displayed in the menu button. Right-click the appropriate chapter marker and choose Set Poster Frame.
