    Just want to say to blackmagic that your scene detector is very bad. Lustre had a better scene detector in 2005, Nucoda’s is hundred times better.

    And please, let us be able to split/cut in any timeline, not just the master timeline. This is lame.¨

    Hey Julien,

    Are you using v8 of Resolve?

    If so it’s easy to add cuts to your timelines.

    On the conform page you can easily add cuts, move edit points, if you overlap clips it will add a transition for you and more Etc…

    I haven’t found any issues using the scene detector or toolset but if you have any feedback please do send it to davincihelp@Blackmagic-design.com and I’ll check it out for you.
