Scaling of path enlarges pixels
Using more than one tutorial, I wanted to create a ‘moving map’-effect.
For example: https://www.vd-meer.net/example.avi
in this animation I scale the path together with the background. But as a side-effect the pixels become very huge. Is there another way to reach this effect with a constant line-width?

You can try animating the width of the stroke relative to your zoom.

I’ve tried this, but the line-width in the example is only 3 pixels and I can’t go under 1px.
And still it’s covering almost my whole screen at the start. In the example i’ve hidden the line for the first few frames.To get a idea: in this example the scaling factor ranges from 800,000% to 600% to 600,000%

600,000%, huh? Hm. There’s probably a better way of getting that effect than blowing it up so much.

Have you tried tying the brush size in the Stroke effect to the scale of the map using the linear() expression?
I’m sure an expression guru can help you.

I used the vegas effect for the line. But I’ve also tried the stroke effect, but with this effect the problem stays the same. A width of 1px and a zoom-factor of 600000% seems to fill the complete screen.
I think that it should be possible by resize the path itself, but I don’t know how to do that.
