  • Scaling multiple text strings with expressions

    Hi There
This is not necessarily a problem, more than fact finding mission. Let me say first that I’m new to expressions. Here is my situation. I am working on a poker project that involve multiple hands within a single show.

I have setup a comp that includes:
    1 PLAYER INFO
    a. Name
    b. Action(fold, bet, check , raise, etc)
    c. Percentage

    2 POT SIZE

    3. Player Build/wipe animations, card build/wipe animations

Anyhow, throughout the animation the players percentages, and action, as well as pot size are updating every 2sec(the text just scales in the Y axis from 100 to 0 than the data changes and animates in the Y axis from 0 – 100. Currently I have all this changing as a text layer but I have to update all of this manually.)

I’d like to know if there is a script/expression that will do this for me without having to update each data point manually. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dave

It shouldn’t be too tough to write a script to do this, but you likely won’t find one already written that does exactly what you need without modification (any script will be dependent on your layer and comp names, data file format, etc.)
