Scaling Motion Video to fit menu
Hey – I’m relatively new at this and am trying to teach myself how to build menus, so be easy on me. :-/ Anyways, I’m building a menu right now with a motion background, so I attributed an .avi file to be the main motion video of the menu. However, the .avi file’s size that was automatically created for me in After Effects was 720×480 and I’m working with 16:9 menus (so right now, the video that I created from AE is sitting in the middle of the frame with annoying black side screens). For the life of me, I can’t get it to stretch and fit the entire frame and I know that it’s possible because I did it for another menu before (with the same size .avi file export from AE). Any help would be greatly appreciated… 🙁

Go to File | Interpret Footage and make sure that En sees the assets as widescreen with a PAR of 1.21.
