  • Scale To Fit Frame rotating random clips?

I am a novice with Premiere Pro, hopefully I can get some help here!

I have 350 still images, all the exact same size (2592×1944). i import them and drag them to the timeline, group them, then apply ‘Scale To Fit Frame’ to all. the problem is that some scale perfectly while others, for some reason, rotate. the ones that rotate are completely random as far as i can tell. i am doing a sort of stop-motion animation made of different JPG files that i have, each image at a duration of 5 frames.

can anyone tell me why premiere is rotating some images and how to change it back?

also, is there any way to adjust the overall brightness / contrast / sharpness of the entire project?

    thank you!

I suspect Premiere is choking on 350 5MP pics and running your system out of memory. Try resizing your pics to 1200x 900 and saving as bitmaps using a Photoshop action.

thanks for your suggestion, but i resized the whole lot like you said, and reimported them, however premiere has still rotated some of the images. not sure why this is happening!

i wan to vocus on a head shot instead of the whole image, just focusing in on a face to give more drama to the cine.
    if you could help?
